How to Reschedule an Appointment Without Calling Anyone

Something came up and your appointment needs to move. Here's how to change it yourself in a few taps, without a phone call or a new round of texting.

Something comes up. A meeting runs long, a kid gets sick, the car won't start — and the appointment you booked for 2pm tomorrow needs to move. The old way of handling this is a phone call or a text to whoever you booked with, then waiting for them to reply with times that might not even work, and going back and forth until something lands.

If you booked through a link instead of a phone call, you can usually skip that whole exchange and just move it yourself.

Finding the option

Open your bookings — wherever you can see the appointment you made. Next to it there's a small menu with a few actions: adding it to your calendar, cancelling, and rescheduling. Tap reschedule.

Picking a new time

You'll see a short strip of upcoming days to choose from. Tap a date, and the available times for that day load in below it — the same kind of picker you used the first time you booked, showing only times that are actually open, not times you'd have to fight over.

Pick a time. If there's nothing that works on that day, just tap a different date in the strip; it reloads instantly rather than making you back out and start over.

Confirming the change

Before anything actually changes, you'll see a quick summary — something like "move your session to Thursday at 2:00 PM" — so you're not confirming blind. Tap confirm, and that's it. A short message pops up saying the appointment was moved, and it now shows the new date and time wherever you're viewing your bookings.

A couple of things worth knowing

The new time still has to be one the provider actually has open — if they've blocked a day off or that hour's already taken, it simply won't show up as an option, the same as when you booked originally. Nobody has to reject your request; you just won't see times that don't work.

And moving an appointment doesn't create a second one sitting alongside the old time — it's the same appointment, just relocated. If you check back later and see two entries, that's worth a second look, not something to assume is normal.
